REVIEW: Rachel & “Paranormal Thriller” could not be any LESS compatible. I may have literally rolled my eyes when this was the only Book of the Month option for January I was remotely interested in. I love thrillers, but c’mon A PARANORMAL THRILLER? Book of the Month, you’re killing me!
But, spoiler alert: I WAS WRONG & I LOVED IT!
★ Simone St. James’ “The Sun Down Motel” is one part thriller, one part cold case murder mystery, one part spooky paranormal, & all parts enjoyable!★
From it’s compulsive readability to complex, yet very likable characters to on-the-edge-of-my-seat plot, this book was an absolute winner for me! An absolute favorite of year so far.
Overall, a great choice if you are a lover of good mystery.
SENSITIVITY WARNINGS: Cold case murder, paranormal activity, some language.
